Ms. Lee Yuk Chi, Josephine is the Chief Executive Officer of St. James’ Settlement. Involving herself in social services and social enterprise, Ms. Lee is the Internal Co-Chairman of Care for the Elderly Association Limited, Vice-Chairman of Community Drug Advisory Council and Social Innovation Charity Limited, etc. She has joined St. James’ Settlement since 1989. Starting her job as a family counselor and school social worker, she was promoted in 1997 to the supervisor of elderly services to manage community-based services for the elderly. In 2000, Ms. Lee began to head up a new unit focusing on partnership and alliance development.

At that time, she was responsible for the new project development, image building, marketing, and corporate communication. Besides, she worked on developing new charity projects to fill the service gaps in the community, namely People’s Food Bank, Funeral Navigation Service, Grant-in-aid Brightens Children’s Lives and at the same time, adopting innovative ideas to generate resources for agency development. In September 2011 she took up the post of Assistant Chief Executive Officer and in April 2013, she became the Deputy Chief Executive Officer. The Continuing Care Programs (mainly for elderly), territory-wide charity projects, new service development and external liaison are placed under her supervision and scrutiny.

Ms. Lee graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 1989 and received a Master of Social Sciences Degree in Social Work from the University of Hong Kong in 1994.
